The project includes construction of a 330LF rib & lag tunnel containing a 72" x 113" elliptical reinforced concrete pipe under the I-405 freeway, replacement of 2,700LF of existing trapezoidal channel with a larger capacity 20' wide reinforced concrete 'U' channel.
Additional work consists of replacement of an existing 63" reinforced concrete pipe under the Edinger Ave/I-405 overcrossing approach ramp with a cast-in-place double barrel 9' x 9' reinforced concrete box by open cut excavation.
