About Us
In the early 1950’s, Keith Eugene Card had a desire to establish a landscaping
business in Southern California. He created KEC Company and was issued a
contractors license on 7/15/1953. The Company’s office and yard was originally
located in Hawaiian Gardens, CA.
The Company was very successful and grew tremendously from the 1950’s
through the 1970’s. Seeing the need for additional office space and area for
equipment, Keith purchased land in Corona, CA and built a new corporate office
building in 1975. The Company expanded the offices in 1985 and continues to
run its operations there today.
After more than 40 years in business, Keith decided to retire and sell all of the
Company’s property and assets to its key employees who had given more than
20 years of service. KEC Engineering was established in 1995.
